Hey, this is just to let the Supervisor on duty at 10:30am on Thursday know that I may be running late for my CIRCA Phone shift by a few min (probably more than the 7 min window) because I have a class that doesn't get out until 10:25 in Matherly. It will probably take me a full 10 min to walk over here given that my professor lets me out on time. If my schedule stays the same then this will most likely be a reoccuring issue.

Justin let us know that at 5:30pm tonight we had 49 tickets in the consultant queue. By the time I showed up at around 6:00pm we were closer to 60. Thanks to the vigorous work of the night Account speciallists and our 2 consultants (we were one short tonight) we got the consultant queue down to 27 tickets, 9 of which are busy/no answer calls or call backs. Good job everybody.
If a student, who is also a student employee, is trying to print from the SG lab in the Reitz union they will receive an error that their quota has been reached. It is an error with AD and they are currently working on it. The ticket does not need to be referred, just let the client know it is being looked into.
It is the first week of classes and isis has retired.

Client calling about the "notes" page (http://notes.cba.ufl.edu/) should be referred to the Technology Assistance Center, 273-0248. This is a College of Business site for assignment submission. I've seen a couple of these today already.
Housing applicants trying to apply through the housing portal will receive a blank page. The housing office is aware of this problem and they're working on it. Student applicants can use a PDF that is outlined in their housing materials (if they haven't received the housing package they should wait until they do). This is all according to Rosie from Housing.
The UF Security Team has updated us on the eBill spam messages. Consultants in particular, if clients call asking if they could have been infected, Security Team says that it is highly unlikely; they would have had to download AND decode the file to get infected. AS, if in doubt, refer to a Consultant. Consultant, as your TB for more info if you're in doubt.
Trent was not feeling well this morning and could not come in for his morning shift, but he will try to make it in for his afternoon shift.
Mutliple consultants have told me that Windows 98 does not work on the consultant computers. I spoke with D about this problem today as I tried to boot one of the consultant computers into Windows 98. He instructed me to follow the on-screen prompts and the computer (eventually) did boot into Windows 98. The problem is being caused because the version of Novell on the 98 image does not support 2gigs of memory. Feel free to ask D or me any questions about this.
Apparently LDAP may have been updated this weekend and all webpages using LDAP seem to be having issues - so far this includes webmail, whats my ufid, and directory update
